The Business Process Manager (Master Data Management) is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across enterprise systems, including but not limited to ERP platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting business operations by developing efficient data management processes, collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality, and driving process improvements aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Creation and Maintenance

  • Create, update, and manage master data records (e.g., customer, vendor, product, asset, and financial data) in ERP and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure master data is accurate, complete, and consistent with business rules and standards.
  • Conduct regular data audits and validation to identify and resolve data discrepancies.

Business Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Analyze existing data management processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement workflows that support data accuracy and governance.
  • Document and maintain master data procedures, standards, and best practices.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for master data-related inquiries and issues from business units.
  • Work closely with IT, finance, procurement, and other departments to gather and validate master data requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on master data management processes and tools.

Data Quality and Governance

  • Enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain high-quality data.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to master data quality and process efficiency.
  • Support initiatives for data migration, integration, and cleansing during system implementations or upgrades.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in master data management and ERP systems.
  • Propose and implement automation solutions to streamline data management processes.
  • Participate in projects involving the implementation or enhancement of data management tools and systems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in master data management, business process analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFCA, and other ERP) and data management tools is a plus.
