General Accountant

Filinvest Hotel: Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila

The General Accountant is responsible for managing the hotel's financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information in accordance with accounting standards and hotel policies. This role involves maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank statements, and handling accounts payable and receivable. The General Accountant also ensures compliance with tax regulations, assists with internal and external audits, and provides financial insights to support management in decision-making processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of the hotel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
• Experience with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, or similar) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management skills.
• Familiarity with local financial regulations and tax laws.
• Willingness to work in Muntinlupa City.
