The Senior Manager, Learning and Development, manages the design and ensures the effective implementation of comprehensive learning and development initiatives. This role involves working with various departments to identify training needs, design training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of Learning Functions

  • Demonstrates ownership of the end to end learning function or learning activities assigned to fulfill the learning journey
  • Leads the implementation and embedding of learning and development programs, processes, and tools.
  • Drives awareness, implementation, and integration of learning and development initiatives.
  • Acts as a senior learning advisor to key stakeholders.

Content Strategy and Program Management

  • Leads in identifying competency gaps through advanced training needs analysis.
  • Oversees the creation of comprehensive learning modules.

Strategic Training Planning

  • Determines necessary resources at an organizational level.
  • Manages resource optimization by overseeing logistics planning.

Advanced Training Facilitation

  • Guides facilitation teams in delivering high-quality programs.
  • Adapts program design based on learner profiling.

Strategic Analysis & Evaluation

  • Conducts high-level monitoring of all L&D programs.
  • Implements sophisticated measurement tools to assess program effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership

  • Initiates proactive collaboration with business units on L&D strategies.
  • Manages complex stakeholder requirements through in-depth analysis.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in leading Learning & Development functions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and establish stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with various learning enablement disciplines.
  • Bachelors degree in psychology, behavioral science, business administration, or related programs.
  • 8+ years of experience in Learning and Development
  • L&D related certifications are an added advantage
