About the job Sr. Contracts Manager
Job Purpose: To minimize risk that covers procurement, commercial, legal and documentation management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre Contracts Management

Supervise management of contract documents through electronic means to ensure all documents are controlled.

Review of contracts and scope to identify potential risks and advise the management of its potential implication.

Coordinate with project team related to project schedule to evaluate if the schedule is acceptable and appropriate to the conditions on site.

Lead negotiations with contractors, coordinate with ETS technical and work with internal and external legal counsel to finalize contract document terms and conditions.
Contract/Project Monitoring

Understand legal and contractual requirements to manage projects within given borders and to support on legal clarifications as needed.

Establish payment system to tracked if the payment schedule are in accordance to the contract.

Set up a risk register and review the risks and advise the project management team to monitor and control the associated risks.
Chair a monthly risk review meeting. -
Establish acceptance criteria for each payment milestone and what supporting documentation is required along with the invoice.

Monitor and process Request for Payment (RFP) to ensure payments are on time and all supporting document are provided in accordance to contract requirement.

Manage, review and minimize change request to mitigate the impact and ensure its within approved budget.

Coordinate with project team through budget monitoring system and monthly review to ensure the contracts or project are within given budget.

Monitor and coordinate with Project Team through scheduled review if deliverables are achieved in accordance to contract requirement and have been satisfied reasonably.

Assist in contractor negotiation to review and agree change orders. Assist Business Development group for Power, Solar, Hydro project set up in particular securing right of way (ROW) and all permitting under the responsibility of the owner devising action plans to secure ROW and setting up trackers to monitor and drive progress to close out.

Setting up tracking tools to monitor procurement, payment and commercial issues.
EDUCATION: Graduate of Bachelor of Business Management or equivalent; Master units or degree is an advantage
EXPERIENCE: At least with 10 to 15 years in Contract Management and/or Project Management relevant Experience
