FILINVEST COMPANY: Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay
Works under the guidance of the Pastry Sous Chef to uphold high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation in all pastry items. Responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of baked goods for all kitchen outlets.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results and maintain product integrity
- Orients and trains qualified employees
- Sets bakery/pastry stations for forecasted covers, reservationsn and all special functions
- Plans and requisitions food as needed; needs requisitions with the Pastry Sous Chef
- Prepares breads in accordance with the menu specifications
- Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time
Qualification
- Degree or diploma in culinary
- Experience working is bakery, pastry shop or commercial kitchen environment
- With ServSafe and HACCP certifications
- Can start immediately
- Amenable to work onsite
