JOB TITLE: BENEFITS ASSOCIATE - STATUTORY


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College graduate, preferably Bachelor in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Behavioral Science or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience


JOB SUMMARY:

The ESD Associates (Benefit Administration - Statutory) is responsible for the functional areas of government mandated benefits . She/He is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of government benefits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. GOVERNMENT REMITTANCES

  • Ensures accuracy of contributions and loan deductions and prepares summary of remittances
  • Prepares RFP and uploads government remittances in eGov

  • Enrolls newly hired and deletes separated employees in government system


2. GOVERNMENT BENEFITS

  • Files sickness/maternity notification to SSS

  • Accurately computes and prepares RFP for sickness/maternity advance payment

  • Informs timekeeping and payroll team of employees on medical/maternity leave

  • files benefits reimbursements and coordinates with Central AR

  • Prepares PhilHealth summary of contributions, CSF, and CF1 for employees hospitalization


3. GOVERNMENT LOAN APPLICATIONS

  • Endorses SSS and Pag-IBIG loan application for approval of supervisor
  • Prepares loan schedule of deduction and endorse to Payroll team

  • Coordinates with rehire employees on existing loans from previous employer and arrange for salary deduction


4. GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS & WEBINARS

  • Coordinates with government agencies in organizing programs and benefits such as but not limited to monthly webinars and ID kiosk deployment
  • Prepares teasers and facilitates government programs and webinars


5. COMPANY UNIFORM

  • Prepares Purchase Request and coordinates with SCM for Supply Agreement
  • Schedules employees uniform measurement

  • Prepares RFP of uniform payable to supplier


6. DATA REPORT MANAGEMENT

  • Encodes, maintains, and updates monitoring files and provides weekly/monthly ES reports and updates


7. CUSTOMER SERVICES

  • Serves as an authorized representative for all government mandated concerns and transactions (SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG)
  • Responds to internal and external queries of employees and other related functions


8. OTHERS

  • Orients newly hired on government benefits

  • Updates clearance of resigned/separated employees accountabilities

  • Facilitates request for SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth summary of contributions

  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge in MS Office Programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
