About the job Sales Executive

The Sales Executive handles accounts with frequent individual travelers, MICE and/or catering requirements. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Associate Director of Sales in coordination with the AVP for Sales and VP for Sales and Marketing and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, implements all sales activities, executes administrative tasks and maximize business opportunities in his / her specific area of responsibility. This position is responsible for representing and promoting the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base of his/her responsibility through customer relationship management.

Sales

  • Implements all sales action plans related to his / her market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Attends major travel functions (i.e. trade shows and promotional events) that deal specifically with his / her market area.
  • Promotes and produces sales leads for all properties of Crimson Resorts and Spa, Quest Hotels and Resorts and Timberland Highland Resort.
  • Arranges familiarization / site inspection trips by major clients.
  • Ensures rate quoted and committed to clients are within specified guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his / her market area.

Administration

  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Actively participates and contributes to the updating of the Marketing Plan.
  • Replies to enquiries within 48 hours
  • Reliever for other Sales Managers assigned to other areas, as needed.

a.) Report

  • Submits weekly sales summary and reports.
  • Submits quarterly performance report on top accounts.
  • Maintains an updated record on all accounts.
  • Submits liquidation reports within set policy on deadlines.

b.) Credit Requirements

  • Assists in follow-up on deposit requirements during peak periods as may be deemed necessary.

Communication

  • Disseminates sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
  • Participates in weekly marketing / sales meeting.
  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, telex, contracts, and written communications.
  • Attends all pre-conference meetings, as required
  • Attends all post - conference meetings, as required and assists in the preparation of post-conference reports, as required.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Ensures that all enquiries are responded promptly within 24 hours.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the local market, corporate accounts, and leisure segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets consistently.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend client meetings or industry events as needed.
  • Willingness to work in Muntinlupa City.
