Kitchen Cook

FILINVEST COMPANY: Quest Hotel Tagaytay City

This position is responsible for preparation of hot and/or cold food within the assigned kitchen, ensuring that the quality of work conforms with standards. 

• Ensures that all food items are ready for service within the standard preparation time
• Follow services procedures
• Checks that all gauges, timers, and knobs of machines are functioning properly
• Reports immediately any malfunctioning of equipment to superior
• Consistently performs in accordance with set levels
• Cooperates and coordinates with colleagues whenever necessary
• Prepares mis-en-place as advised by superior
• Completes par stocking of cooking supplies and equipment
• Follows cost control procedures
• Store food items properly
• Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time
