The Head Baker leads the Bread & Pastry Department, ensuring efficient operations and the production of high quality baked goods. The Head Baker is responsible for maintaining an organized workflow, upholding company standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Head Baker collaborates with the Executive Chef to fulfill pastry requirements, oversees baking processes, and ensures consistency in recipes and methods. Through leadership and expertise, this role contributes to delivering exceptional pastry offerings while maintaining operational excellence. 

  • Completes the daily consumption requirements
  • Accountable for daily production
  • Manage needed supplies and inventory levels
  • Constantly thrive to upgrade the food quality and presentation
  • Have full knowledge of all all menu items, ingredients and allergens
  • Constantly thrive to upgrade the food quality and presentation
  • Hold daily meetings with his/her pastry and kitchen admin team
  • Protect customers form dangers and ensure that they receive the weight and quality of food for their value of money
  • Set clear quality control procedures 
  • Conducts staff training programs
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management or Culinary or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of extensive experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Amenable to work onsite in Muntinlupa City
