About the job Commis II (Cold)
FILINVEST COMPANY: TIMBERLAND HIGHLANDS RESORT
Under the direct supervision of the Head Cook, this position is responsible for the food service operations and ensures food preparations of highest quality in section assigned while adhering to standards for food storage and usage.
Maintains high levels of productivity and sanitation at all times.
Prepares food as assigned by superior.
Ensures quality of finish products.
Prepares food as per standard/quality set by Resort
Ensures the proper portioning and rotation of foods and proper plate presentation.
Sets up breakfast/lunch or lunch/dinner workstations, ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecasted customers and reservations
Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Resort policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Resort employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
At all times, projects a favorable image of Timberland Highlands Resort to the public.
Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.
