In accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of Baker J Co., Under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager/Supervisor, the Barista is responsible in preparing beverages, mis-en-place, service, and maximization of guest satisfaction in the outlets. Ensures smooth operations of the sections appointed in the Food & Beverage Division and customer satisfaction.

  1. Beverage Preparation: A bartender should have expert knowledge in preparing various types of cocktails and other beverages using different methods and equipment.
  2. Beverage Presentation: They should be able to present beverages attractively, creating decorative touches to enhance the overall visual appeal.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: They should be knowledgeable about equipment maintenance, cleaning and maintaining beverage equipment, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  4. Menu Development: They should have experience in developing new beverage offerings and menu items, suggesting changes to existing items, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
  5. Cash Handling: They should be proficient in handling cash and processing transactions accurately and efficiently, including making change and handling credit card payments.
  6. Customer Service: They should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEGREE IN HOTEL/RESORT AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT OR RELATED

  • 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN WORKING AS A BARTENDER

  • MUST BE TRAINED / CERTIFIED IN MIXOLOGY
