The Head Baker will be responsible for the leading the bakery team in creating high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency and excellence in product standards and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bakery operation. This role involves overseeing daily production, developing new recipes, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
- Prepares attendance sheets
- Prepares shift rosters
- Maintains absence statistics and does not follow-up actions
- Records critical incidents
- Shares problems with team and discusses solutions
- Completes daily production reports
- Analyses weekly, monthly production, and cost statistics
- Create new menus and promotional items based on the outlet's clientele and marketing analysis
- Present suggestions to Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Cultivate ideas from the team for new display ideas
- Conducts regular inspections of all inaccessible areas within the kitchen
- Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior and/or management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the same position in a 5 star hotel
- With Food Safety and Serve Safe Training
- Amenable to working Boracay Island
- Can star immediately
