Timberland Highlands Resort is seeking a skilled Aircon Technician to join our maintenance team. The Aircon Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems throughout the hotel premises. This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting HVAC issues. The successful candidate will ensure that all air conditioning units operate efficiently to provide a comfortable environment for guests and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning units in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC systems and implement appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Coordinate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete repair requests promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency of air conditioning systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical certification in HVAC systems preferred.
- Proven experience as an Aircon Technician or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, including refrigeration cycle, electrical components, and air distribution systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of air conditioning units, including split systems, window units, and central air systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment, such as manifold gauges, leak detectors, and voltage testers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and climbing.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC operations.
- Amenable to work in San Mateo, Rizal.
