Security Specialist - Mindanao

Development, planning and coordination of business unit-wide security standard. Responsible for the functional management and people leadership.

Key activities:

1. Customer

• Actively co-ordinates and assists M&S in advice for security and safety related matters (e.g. property sales inquiries)
• Tunes and adapts the provided security and safety concepts to meet external and internal stakeholders security and safety requirements
• Responsible for implementation of security & safety awareness training of the staffs

2. Stakeholder

• Advisor in all security and safety related matters to the country management

3. Process

• Assists in setting up business contingency plans on country management level
• Implements and adapts security requirements for sub-contractors / vendors SOPs in cooperation with Property Operations and Procurement
• Advises management / procurement regarding procedural and technical matters (physical security for existing and new projects, reconstruction, and extension)
• Assists local management during investigations when security and safety incidents occur and supervises the implementation of agreed corrective actions to close identified gaps
• Executes and manages security and safety assessments, audits, and assists the property management with the risk classifications and self-assessments
• Monitors the implementation of improvement plans (corrective actions) agreed with the management and / or customers
• Conducts investigations in security incidents and cooperates with the local law enforcements during the investigation work (single point of contact).

4. People - Management

• Dotted line (supervisory role) to the Property Management Teams and 3rd party security agency personnel.
• Responsible for the security awareness training program in his / her assigned properties

Qualifications

• 2 3 years of experience in the security and safety environment, preferably in a residential and / or property management environment.
• College graduate: a degree in business, criminology, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Background in military, law enforcement or reservist is preferred but not required
• Relevant security training certifications (CSP, CPO, etc.)
• Relevant safety training certifications (At least DOLE OSH certified Safety Officer Level 1 and Red Cross First Aider Basic Life Support)
