JOB SUMMARY: 

The Labor Relations Specialist monitors and ensures that the company and employees are compliant with Labor Laws and Company Policy. He/She assists the organization to develop an effective culture that rewards high performance.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Labor Relations

  • Coordinates with Legal for SEnA or DOLE Complaints and attend hearings
  • Ensures DOLE compliance of the Company
  • Assists DOLE Personnel during office inspections
  • Provides assistance to Immediate head and Legal Officer in handling employee cases and offenses
  • Updates/Processes DOLE Status reports
  • Monitors updated Labor Laws / Issuances

Employee Performance Management

  • Facilitate the performance review cycle regularization and annual performance review
  • Provide guidance and support to people leaders and employees on performance expectations, goals and appraisal procedures
  • Drive utilization of performance management tools ( Darwinbox)

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in Employee Engagement Activities and Tasks of the company

Other Tasks as may be required by HR Head or Employee Relations Manager


EDUCATION, TRAININGS, LICENSES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Political Science, Social Science, Industrial Relations or related field
  • With at least 1-2 year relevant work experience in Employee/Labor Relations
