The Corporate Accounting Head is mainly responsible for providing Filinvest management (i.e. FLI Excom I Board and FDC Controllership) with timely and accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance to reportorial requirements from several regulatory agencies (i.e. SEC, PSE, PEZA and BOI).

He I She works/coordinates with the various finance teams of FLI divisions, subsidiaries, associates and relevant business units in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial reports needed for consolidation. He I She reviews the financial performance of the parent company, its divisions and subsidiaries, and provides inputs to management and to these entities on improving profitability, cashflows and balance sheet management.

He I She ensures that account reconciliations (e.g. intercompany recon, bank recon, GL/SL recon, etc.) and aging reports for receivables and payables are updated, clearing accounts are closed according to established resolution period and that GL balances are supported by related Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss schedules.

He I She make sure that cash advances and related liquidation are processed on time and payroll deductions for employee loans and advances including long outstanding cash advances are promptly done per policy.

He I She oversees the FLI Parent and subsidiaries in external financial audits (annual, interim) and review procedures of accounts and coordinates with the external auditors as needed.
