The PDMC/PMO Lead plays a crucial role in driving the success of the company's real estate development initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the real estate development lifecycle, from concept to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership to evaluate project proposals, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the successful execution of key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Evaluation and Prioritization:
- Analyze and evaluate project proposals, including feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial projections.
- Conduct in-depth research and market analysis to identify and assess potential development opportunities.
- Advise the Chairman on the prioritization of projects based on their potential profitability, market demand, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Strategic Guidance and Consulting:
- Provide strategic guidance and consulting services to senior management and subsidiaries within the real estate group on all aspects of project development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project management best practices across the organization.
- Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with real estate development projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Project Oversight and Management:
- Monitor the progress of key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze project financials, including cost estimates, budgets, and profitability projections.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and optimize project budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, with a strong emphasis on project management and construction management.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and on schedule.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with construction documentation and contract management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to think strategically and identify innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Driven to achieve project goals and exceed expectations.
- Able to confidently present ideas, advocate for project decisions, and effectively communicate with senior management.
