Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) is seeking for an aspiring senior staff candidate who is eager to step into a supervisory role in finance and security operations. Overall, chosen candidate in this role in the safety department combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of safety principles to ensure that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to forecast future financial performance.
  • Conduct profitability analysis for various business units and product lines.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing explanations for variances.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budget and forecast processes.
  • Analyzes the departments costs associated with safety and security operations, including personnel and equipment.
  • Monitor expenses, identify, and analyze safety and security measurements and improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety and security standards.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by senior management.

Strategic Planning:

  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and projections.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of potential business decisions and investments.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions that may impact the companys financial performance.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.
  • Has an interest in security tasks, including the computation and analysis of physical security costs such as perimeter walls, access control (doors, biometrics), CCTV systems/plans, floor plans, security guard expenses, and cost per square meter and facilitating billing processes with security agencies.
  • Identify and analyze financial data to identify efficient material/equipment to safety and security expenditures. Also utilize data analysis tools to identify potential areas of risk or inefficiency.
  • Implement recommendations from audit findings to enhance financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing or a related field.
  • Experience in data analytics or auditing is an advantage.
  • Understanding of security tasks, including the computation and analysis of physical security costs are advantages.
  • Preferably lives nearby South Metro Manila.
  • Amenable to conduct on-site visits if assigned.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
  • With at least 2 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools such as Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
