He/She plays a vital role in a professional kitchen, assisting chefs with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the buffet setup. They ensure that breakfast items are freshly prepared, well-presented, and replenished as needed. Under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff, they gain hands-on culinary experience, refining their skills in high-volume service. 

  • Cooking dishes according to recipes and instructions from senior chefs
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and workstations
  • Stocking and restocking ingredients and supplies
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ensuring proper handling and storage of knives and other sharp kitchen tools
  • Regularly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, including countertops, cutting boards, and equipment
  • Maintaining records of food costs, wastage, and inventory usage for budgeting purposes
  • Assisting with menu development and pricing strategies in collaboration with senior management
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by head. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in Culinary arts program 
  • with 1-2 years of related work experience
  • with food safety and hygiene practices
  • good communication skills
  • can start immediately 
  • amenable to work onsite in Muntinlupa
