The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for driving banquet and event sales by developing client relationships, promoting the hotel's event facilities and services, and ensuring successful execution of functions and events. This role manages the entire sales process from inquiry handling and proposal creation to event coordination, ensuring guest satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets at Quest Plus Conference Center Clark.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Generate banquet and event sales through client acquisition, inquiries, referrals, and business development activities.
  • Handle event inquiries, conduct client meetings, and identify guest requirements to provide suitable event solutions.
  • Prepare and present event proposals, quotations, contracts, and banquet packages based on client needs.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding event details, menus, setups, timelines, and special arrangements.
  • Conduct site inspections and showcase banquet facilities, amenities, and hotel services to potential clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, social clients, travel partners, and event organizers.
  • Coordinate with Operations, F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Monitor event details and ensure all client requirements are properly communicated and delivered.
  • Assist in achieving banquet revenue goals through upselling of menus, packages, and additional services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client information, and event documentation.
  • Gather client feedback and ensure proper follow-up to improve guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Job Qualification:

  • Graduate of Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in banquet sales, hotel sales, catering, or event management.
  • Experience in hotel, resort, or conference center operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, and food & beverage services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Able to prepare sales proposals, quotations, contracts, and event documents.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with hotel sales systems is an advantage.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.
  • Willing to work on flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
