About the job IT Project Manager

An IT Project Manager leads the team/s engaged in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a specific

business application and/or IT service or project. Duties involve project planning and monitoring, resource management, and project

implementation that is in accordance with Filinvest Software Development Life Cycle standard.

IT Project Management

  • Works with management, application development staff, IT clients and vendors (if applicable) in understanding application requirements, determining the scope, and delivering high quality application systems and IT-related services.
  • Leads one or more projects within the delegated team(s), managing resourcing, timelines, budgets and quality of deliverables.
  • Ensures availability of the team resources to support projects and monitor work progress towards targets
  • Monitors and reports on project status, escalating issues and risks as early as possible
    Direct clear and efficient problem identification, analysis and solutions formulation or work-around.

Solution/Application Development & Implementation
For external-sourced or internal-developed solutions

  • Ensures the delivered software satisfies the functional and non-functional requirements as agreed with
    customer and in compliance with group-wide IT standards
  • Deliver quality software ensuring minimal defects and the conduct of agreed Quality Assurance processes to continuously improve deliverables
  • Ensures complete, up-to-date and version control of all documentation for IT applications and services
  • Directs clear and efficient problem identification, analysis and solutions formulation or work-around.
  • Ensure availability of competent 1st, 2nd and 3rd level production support as appropriate For internal-developed systems or solutions
  • Leads software development team developing systems, middleware, and other requirements to fill gaps between systems to ensure complete and seamless running of solutions
  • Ensure 3rd level production support for In-House applications and IT project implementations
  • People Management
    Enables the team to meet delivery and service commitments and schedules according to plans.
  • Provides coaching and performance feedback to individuals & teams
  • Provides learning and continuous improvement of project team members and processes
  • Ensures all service requests are allocated to individual team members based on skills, and availability of resources in order to meet SLAs or commitments
