About the job Accounting Assistant - Residential Segment
Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will be in charge in the preparation of monthly residential segment financial reports and related schedules. He/She will also provide various reports required by the management with the direct supervision of his/her supervisor. He/She will maintain, keep track and consolidate, as necessary, the various reports being prepared by the regional finance units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
60%Preparation of Monthly Residential Segment Financial Reports and Related Schedules:
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the residential segment financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Assistance in preparation of various residential financial reports and schedules (but not limited to the following):
-Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Rawland, Inventory and Reserve Schedule
- Subdivision/Property Repairs Schedule
-Presentation materials
20%
- Support the accounting lead in preparation of other relevant reports to be submitted to management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and relevance in accounting.
15%
- Month-end closing support such as account analytics, reconciliation and clean-up, as needed.
- Collaborate with regional finance partners and other cross-functional teams and participate in discussions related to residential project accounts, providing documentation, reconciliation and explanations as needed.
5% Other relevant tasks as assigned.
