POSITION SUMMARY
The Golf Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales, strategic partnerships, and creative package development for Mimosa Plus Golf. The role focuses on generating new business through corporate events, tournaments, travel agents, and hotel collaboration. This individual will also support internal golf event promotions, develop Stay & Play programs, and coordinate with the Golf Academy to create engaging coaching and team-building packages. The ideal candidate is a passionate golf enthusiast with excellent communication and relationship-building skills who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. BASIC FUNCTIONS
- Lead sales efforts to attract corporate groups, tournaments, and large golf events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate partners.
- Oversee all golf reservation bookings from external agents and direct inquiries.
- Coordinate with the hotel and F&B teams to promote Stay & Play and banquet offerings.
- Work closely with the Golf Relations team to ensure seamless guest communication and service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Academy team to market coaching packages, clinics, and team-building programs.
- Create innovative golf and leisure packages to drive incremental revenue.
- Plan and promote internal Mimosa Plus golf events, ensuring strong participation and profitability.
- Contribute to the clubs overall marketing and sales strategy with data-driven insights and new ideas.
2. PRIMARY DUTIES
- Conduct proactive sales calls, meetings, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, track performance metrics.
- Coordinate and execute group contracts, proposals, and event quotations.
- Develop promotional materials and digital campaigns with marketing team.
- Maintain close communication with hotel reservations and F&B office teams to align offers.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to represent Mimosa Plus Golf.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback for continual improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and revenue performance summaries.
- Ensure high service standards across all guest interactions and event executions.
3. HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains records and completes required reporting. Order parts, supplies and equipment as needed.
- To always provide a courteous and professional service.
- To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
- To have a complete understanding and adhere to the Golf & hotels policy relating to the department.
- To always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- To have a complete understanding of the employee's code of conduct and adhere to the regulations contained within.

- Ensures to maintain positive relationships with Departmental and Hotel colleagues.
- Ensures always maintain a positive attitude and disposition.
4. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Be familiar with property safety, food safety, first aid and fire emergency procedures.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify the General Manager of potential dangers.
- Ensure security incidents and accidents are logged.
5. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
- Participates in the regular evacuation drill procedure.
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Adherence to environmentally friendly practices such as reducing waste, recycling when possible and re-use whenever applicable.
- Responsible in being a role model of the Company that would be aligned with the Company Standards, Code of Discipline and Policy and Procedures.
