Mechanic

The Mechanic plays a critical operational role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all golf course and turf maintenance equipment. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and lifecycle management of golf course machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum asset value.

The role requires strong technical competence across a wide range of machinery, disciplined record-keeping for asset management and preventative maintenance schedules, and a proactive approach to safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. The Mechanic supports Mimosa Plus Golf's commitment to excellence by ensuring equipment standards always meet professional golf course expectations.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment (mowers, vehicles, tractors, and related machinery)
• Inspect equipment regularly to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment availability for daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, reports, and inventory.
• Order and manage spare parts and tools as needed.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and guide staff to minimize damage.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
• Communicate equipment status and issues to supervisors.
• Support overall golf course operations as needed.
