Position Summary
The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service, and proper equipment arrangement in the outlet. This role ensures that service and operational standards are consistently met while supervising and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations & Guest Service:
- Advise the Manager on all matters related to shift operations.
- Supervise and control service delivery to guests to ensure consistent, high-quality standards.
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring correct portions, presentation, and adherence to operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Quest Plus Conference Center policies and procedures.
- Stand in for any F&B team member during absences or vacations to maintain smooth operations.
- Develop, guide, and discipline subordinates to maintain performance and service standards.
- Recommend promotions and assist in implementing new food and beverage service procedures.
- Maintain awareness of daily operations and support subordinates while respecting communication and command lines.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests by offering warm, courteous, and professional service.
Bar & Inventory Management:
- Manage bar operations, including costing, stock ordering, and inventory control.
- Address guest queries, feedback, and complaints with patience, professionalism, and quick resolution.
Team Training & Development:
- Conduct daily training to ensure CORPORATE Company Standards are consistently followed.
- Attend departmental meetings, briefings, and other meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and customer experience
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for both guests and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work in Clark
