JOB SUMMARY: 

The MEPFS Engineer - Residential MRB ensures the quality and compliance of materials and workmanship related to Mechanical,  Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) installations of the project. He/She requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the implementation of Construction Management activities
- Prepares and store project status and accomplishment reports.
- Coordinates and Monitor all contractors involved in the project as Owner Representative. 
- Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEPFS -contractors during construction. 
- Validate design issues related to MEPFS and suggest alternative solutions.
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEPFS submittals. 
- Log and post all MEPFS changes and as-built information on field drawings.
- Prepares cost estimate for budgetary purposes 
- Assist in the scoping review and justification of MEPFS change work order. 
- Assist in the installation of MEPFS work. 
- Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEPFS contractor. 
- Coordinating and administrating MEPFS -related materials, systems, and shop drawings. 
- Liaison with Consultant MEPFS supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff. 
- Ensure that MEPFS Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records. 
- Ensure that MEPFS Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations & health protocols as per government standard. 
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEPFS equipment.
- Conducts punch listing of defective works subject for rectification prior to final acceptance.
- Evaluates progress billing and accomplishment report.
- Prepares minutes of the meeting, memos and other letter regarding construction activities.

2. Assist in development and improvement of policies and procedures
- Assist the Construction Management Projects Head in the development and improvement of policies and procedures that lead to effective/efficient implementation of construction management for projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
  • With at least 1-2 years experience in Construction Management
  • Work location: Futura Iloilo
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM & Saturday 8:00AM - 12:00PM
