Job Summary

The Development Control Specialist ensures that Filinvest City locator construct and execute construction works in compliance withthe DCC&R, set building standards based on the National Building Code (NBC) and other relevant government mandated rules andregulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Development Control Specialist ensures that Filinvest City locator construct and execute construction works in compliance withthe DCC&R, set building standards based on the National Building Code (NBC) and other relevant government mandated rules andregulations.


Ensure that each lot area is complete with the committed provisions prior to hand over and acceptance of the Lot Owner/Locator.


· Coordinate with FAI to evaluate and review Architectural and MEEPS plans submitted by Locators for construction.


· Monitor the Locator’s submission and compliance with the required structure and/or exterior building perspective, plans and other drawings as well as other pre-construction requirements.


· Conduct routine inspection of the building construction progress with Estate Facilities and safety Department to validate that all works are done in accordance with the approved plans and construction guidelines.


· Collates and organize construction deficiencies found during the inspection for proper information to the Locator.


· Provide the Locators/Tenants a harmonious flow of construction.


· Ensure strict compliance of Developers/Contractors to Filinvest City’s Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions/ Fit-out Guidelines. · Submit Monthly staff meeting report.


· Ensure that locators date are correct and accurate



Technical Competencies and Skills

Technical Competency. Capable to read and interpret plans. Identify non-conformance with development guidelines. · Good communication skills (written/oral). · Must have a good understanding and capacity to resolve customer related complaints and has leadership personality to manage cross functional teams. · He/she must be able to communicate with different types of people. · Computer literate (MS Office/AudoCadd/Revit)

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

Graduate of B.S. Architecture, Licensed architect
