Job Position: Financial Reporting Associate


Job Summary

The Financial Reporting Associate is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintaining the books of accounts. The role supports the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports and variance analysis. It also helps ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and government regulations. The position contributes to process improvement and efficiency initiatives to support the companys financial goals while maintaining accuracy and proper documentation.


Duties and Responsibilities

1. GENERAL ACCOUNTING

  • Maintain computerized financial system
  • Preparation of GL/SL Schedules
  • Review journal entries before they are encoded in the system

  2. EXPENDITURES

  • Ensure that all government required reports and payments are properly and promptly submitted and paid
  • Ensure that all intercompany charges are paid on time
  • Ensure that all expenditures are properly recorded
  • Ensure that project costs of new projects are monitored
  • Ensure correctness of RFPs and properly supported with documents.

 3. ASSET CONTROL

·         Prepares cash receipt book and cash disbursement book

·         Monitor un-liquidated cash advances

·         Process petty cash replenishment for Main Square mall

 

4. ADMINISTRATIVE

·         Ensure confidentiality of information that are processed within the department

·         Provide the cleanliness and security of the Accounting Office, including the files, computers and other equipment used by the department.


Technical Competencies and Skills

knowledgeable in microsoft excel

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

must be a BS accountancy graduate
