Plant Technician

FILINVEST COMPANY: Timberland Highlands Resort 

Under the supervision of the Duty Engineer, the Plant Technician is responsible for ensuring efficient operation and
monitoring of all equipment in the physical plant.

• Ensures that operation of machineries and equipment in the physical plant are carried out
  safely and conforms to the machinery operation procedures.
• Records, monitors and controls all operating parameters and ensures high efficiency of
  machineries.
• Performs and updates preventive maintenance program on equipment as applicable
  otherwise coordinate with the activities of only approved maintenance contractors
• Coordinates closely with the Duty Engineer on duty for all work to be done and any
  problem encountered during his duty.
• Responds to emergency calls and assists the emergency brigade in containing the
  situation particularly in operating and monitoring the fire pump station
• Prepares reports as necessary
• Routine plant inspection: Check Desalination Plant parameter, Tender boiler operation, Check chiller parameter, Check generators especially water
• Coolant, oil level and battery readings
• Monitor fire pumps, Constant Pressure System (CPS) pumps, calorifier hot water
  circulating pumps
• Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from
  time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational training
• With 1-2 years related work experience
• With valid related trainings and certificate
• Certified Plant Mechanic
• With good communication skills 
• Can start immediately
• Amenable to work onsite in San Mateo, Rizal
