Job Summary

An IT Project Manager oversees multiple technology programs/projects, ensures adherence to delivery standards, manages risks, capacity management and compliance to solution delivery metrics. Focuses on delivery excellence by managing the end to end lifecycle of the project through constant collaboration with the project team and key stakeholders. Be able to manage simple to complex programs or projects that would contribute to the company’s key initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

IT Project Delivery 

  • Manage simple to complex IT projects and ensure that resources, timelines, budget and quality are in place 
  • Ensure that the project team are aligned with the roles and responsibilities, scope and timeline 
  • Manage the functional team (BA, DEV, QA, UI/UX, Sol Arch) and ensure that committed deliverables are on time 
  • Implementation and adherence to the delivery framework and project governance 
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle and removes roadblocks/impediments 
  • Ensures that corresponding functional resources are assigned to a particular project 
  • Promote a continuous improvement process mindset  
  • Promote compliance on IT standards, security, governance 
  • Accountable on the project updates, risks, challenges, help needed 
  • Escalate issues to upper management as necessary 
  • Accountable for all project documentation, reports and upload to SharePoint  
  • Provide status report to various stakeholders 

 

IT Project Delivery

Team Management 

  • Accountable for the capacity management and proper allocation to their respective projects/programs 
  • Conducts knowledge sharing (brown bag session) within team members 
  • Promotes continuous improvement of project team members 
  • Ensure adherence and contribution to team metrics 
  • Handle both internal/external (BJIT) resources and provide 360 feedback 

Technical Skills 

  • Minimum 5-year experience in software development life cycle, project/program management, process improvement. 
  • Functional analysis and IT project development  
  • Functional/technical experience in managing simple to complex IT programs/projects  
  • Excellent change management, training and mentoring skills  
  • Must demonstrate of high level of composure, professionalism, and knowledge of IT solutions, application management through various product cycles and business environments, and be able to identify risk and recommend applications and technology to address internal user needs. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.  
  • With experience liaising with vendors and industry partners 
  • Experience with either of the following business process – Human Resource, Real Estate, Tenancy and Leasing and Property Management, Hospitality, Supply Chain and other group applications’
