POSITION SUMMARY

In accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of Chroma Hospitality Inc. and Timberland Highlands Resort, Rizal, and under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, the Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable) main responsibility is to collect all daily receipts, prepare daily collection reports, make bank deposits, maintain change fund/float.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collect and count outlet cashier and front office remittances daily.
  2. Receive payments made for local collection, direct settlement by outsider, or cash and checks that are mailed. Record payments in the daily collection report.
  3. Prepare and make the daily bank deposit.
  4. Prepare Daily Collection Report.
  5. Prepare bank reconciliation.
  6. Assist with other accounting job functions and assignments.
  7. Complete other duties that may be assigned by Chief Accountant.

BILLINGS, COLLECTIONS, AND RECORDS

  1. Prepare and issue official invoices, statements of account (SOA), and billing summaries for clients and partners.
  2. Verify completeness and accuracy of all billing details and supporting documents prior to issuance.
  3. Record all approved invoices and receipts in the accounting system promptly and accurately.
  1. Monitor revenue entries to ensure alignment with service contracts, reservations, and sales reports.
  2. Track and monitor outstanding receivables; follow up on overdue accounts in coordination with the concerned departments.
  3. Maintain an updated Aging of Accounts Receivable report.
  4. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in coordination with operations or sales teams.
  5. Ensure proper posting and allocation of customer payments (cash, checks, bank transfers).
  6. Safeguard and deposit cash/check collections in accordance with company policies.

OTHER DUTIES

  1. COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:
    Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook, Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations.
  2. ATTENDANCE:
    Adheres to set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.
  3. COMMUNICATIONS:
    Attends meetings and communicates within the resort premises, as required.
  4. GUEST RELATIONS:
    As assigned and at all opportunities, assists guests directly and indirectly to resolve problems and provide them with a delightful staying experience in the resort.
  5. LOST AND FOUND:
    Fully aware of and comply with Lost and Found procedures.
  6. EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
    Possesses full knowledge of emergency procedures and ensures all staff are always aware of said procedures.
  7. EQUIPMENT CARE:
    Ensures proper equipment care and maintenance in the assignment area.
  8. GROOMING AND HYGIENE:
    Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the resort.
  9. TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES:
    Attends scheduled training and participates in company-initiated employee activities.
  10. GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
    Practices the Guiding Principles in day-to-day interaction.
  11. OTHERS: Performs such other functions as may be delegated by management from time to time.
