Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities and accountabilities of the Water Treatment Plant Operators/Technicians for the desalination plant in Kembali are:
 Maintains and monitors water treatment plant operations (seawater desalination) to maintain the supply to the client per contract
 Operates plant equipment including the  well source pumps and desalination equipment
 Daily performs the following tasks:
Gathers and records operational dataPreventive maintenance of membranes and filters, pumps and motors
Performs minor troubleshooting if needed
 Operate and maintain the desalination plant and water sources and maintain 100% compliance on water quality
standards and under the water supply contract
 Ensure that water supply is available and the cistern tank of the client is full
 Ensure that the plant is always available, except during preventive maintenance period
 Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
 Prepare activity and work order report

Technical Competencies and Skills

Experience to operate RO Desalination Plant, Minor Electrical Troubleshooting, Minor Mechanical Troubleshooting

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

Technical Vocational, Electrical Engineering Technology
