Filinvest Hotel: Quest Plus Conference Center Clark
The Duty Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of all engineering systems and facilities within Quest Plus Conference Center Clark. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, responds to operational concerns, and ensures that all equipment, utilities, and building facilities are functioning efficiently to support guest comfort and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the daily operation of building facilities, engineering systems, and equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other property systems.

Respond promptly to guest room, public area, and operational maintenance concerns.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize operational downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and hotel engineering procedures.

Monitor utility consumption and support initiatives for energy conservation and cost efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and service reports.

Coordinate with other departments to address engineering-related concerns and operational requirements.

Assist in emergency response procedures and ensure proper handling of technical issues.

Ensure all engineering tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and organized.
- Support renovation, repair, and improvement projects as required.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related technical course.
- Licensed Engineer is an advantage.

At least 2–3 years of experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, building maintenance, or related field.

Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and general property maintenance.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.

Knowledge of safety standards, occupational safety practices, and basic environmental compliance.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency situations.

Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
