Job Summary
The Lead Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for permit plans & documents; in-charge of preparing electrical drawings, computations and its auxiliary construction plans and complete documents for land development and building structures. To lead the timely submission of quality plans according to company standards, with value engineering and within the stipulated budget. To be in charge of searching for new products, methodology and services to electrical design advantage.Duties and Responsibilities
PLAN PREPARATION AND DESIGN COORDINATION
· In-charge of preparation of In-house detailed design for electrical and auxiliary plans (including meter center, transformers and generators), budgetary estimates and documents for permit, bidding and construction. Assist during bidding, construction and to reply RFI & RFA for projects such as Hotel projects, Open Space Amenities, Marketing Office and Buildings for MRB/ HRB as well as Housing and other special projects.
· For Outsource consultancy projects, part of the job includes coordination with consultants, suppliers, contractors and project engineers thru site inspections, evaluation reports and meetings.
· Assist and or meeting and discussion with power providers, Telecom companies, project group, internal and external leaders/engineers for electrical design coordination and budget.
· Preparation of Technical report related to the outcome of site investigation.
VALUE ENGINEERING
· Conducts value engineering, studies, electrical design estimates & cost comparisons.
POST PLANNING ACTIVITIES
· Reply to DPI- RFI (request for information) & RFA (request for approval), site queries, job orders, OTC and provide report/ recommendations/solutions.
ENGINEERING ALLIED SERVICES
· After Sales/Buyer’s Request, study complaints and provide solutions of after sales issues and buyer's request
· Assist in the after sales/ buyer’s request for power application.
· Provide technical support (plans and budget) for repair/rehabilitation works
· Building Information Modelling, further enhance capability of BIM during plan preparation maximizing the use of REVIT software especially in quantity extraction
ALLIED COMPANIES SERVICES
· In-charge of coordination, design criteria, parameters and preparation of plans, estimates and other documents needed and requested by FLI Affiliated companies.
ADMINISTRATIVE WORKS
· Attendance to departmental meeting and activities
· Submission of documents involving administrative support.
Technical Competencies and Skills
Knowledgeable in Engineering and other software applications (i.e. Autocad) Dialux Revit MS Word Excel PowerPoint Presentation Able to prepare Technical Report & Study. Expert in Power System Has Leadership in Planning and execution of Electrical Design ProjectsEducation, Trainings and Licenses Required
