Technology Solutions Specialist

Job Summary

The Technology Solutions Specialist should possess the technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively support and improve technological systems and service requirements of the Filinvest conglomerate. This includes design, implementation, testing, commissioning, project and vendor management.

Duties and Responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·       Shall assist in the research and evaluation of IT infrastructure and technology solutions, and recommendation of those that align with the organization’s objectives and requirements.

·       Shall contribute technical expertise to the design and implementation of IT initiatives.

·       Shall create and maintain clear detailed design drawings, bill of quantities, terms of reference, budget, work breakdown and other supporting documents for conglomerate-wide systems and solutions.

·       Shall answer queries of implementation team and provide support in troubleshooting basic and complex technical issues (hardware, software, network) and provide solutions.

·       Shall assist in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure requirements, including but not limited to hardware, software, network, security, and IoT and AI initiatives.

·       Shall liaise with technology vendors in order to come up with the best and most cost-effective solutions.

·       Shall evaluate vendor proposals and contracts.

·       Shall continuously share and recommend new technologies, trends and best practices.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

·       Shall create design drawings using Visio, CAD, or similar drawing tools.

·       Shall create management reports using MS Office tools.
