  • Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, which starts accruing on the day of hire.
  • Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, which starts accruing on the day of hire.
  • Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (10) Paid Federal Holidays

Summary of Services

The State Level Administrator (SLA)/Lead Case Manager will provide essential support to the Arizona Army National Guard's Office of the State Surgeon, coordinating the execution of medical readiness plans, programs, policies, and procedures. Serves as the point of contact for all medical readiness policies, programs, issues, and actions.

Working Hours

The State Level Administrator (SLA)/Lead Case Manager work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless specified otherwise for a Medical Readiness Event (MRE). MRE's are typically held every other Wednesday and on drill weekends for MEDDET, depending on the Office of the State Surgeon, Arizona Army National Guard (AZARNG) Operational requirements. The AZARNG works a 40-hour work week. In no case will the hours worked in any given two-week period exceed 80 hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Active, unrestricted registered nurse license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Three (3) years of Supervisory Experience.
  • Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the execution of medical readiness plans, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all medical readiness policies, programs, issues, and actions.
  • Administers and supervises case managers and contractor staff.
  • Responsible for overseeing and scanning Soldier Treatment Records (STRs) in the State.
  • Interfaces with VA administration for transport of medical records. Interfaces with active-duty Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) on Medical Evaluation Board (MEB)/Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) process for Arizona Army National Guard, Office of the State Surgeon (AZARNG) Soldiers.
  • Responsible for the medical/dental portion of mobilization and demobilization Soldier Readiness Processing (SRPs).
  • Responsible for all administrative functions related to all civilian employees under this contract, including:
  • Primary administrative POC for the Contractor Program Manager.
  • Oversight of all contractor personnel to ensure all required tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Coordinates new hire and refresher contractor training.
  • Tracks work hours.
  • Consolidation of all medical readiness metrics and reports.
  • Ensures Quality Assurance measures are met.
