We are seeking a highly skilled, Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with specialized experience or fellowship training in Neuroradiology reads. In this role, you will interpret a balanced mix of general diagnostic imaging and high-volume, complex neuroimaging cases. You will collaborate closely with stroke, neurology, and neurosurgery teams to provide expert consultations and ensure timely, high-quality patient care.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Contract Term: Starting immediately through March 31, 2031

Estimate Pay: $215/hr

Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., three weekdays per week. Onsite coverage Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is preferred, although another three-day Monday–Friday schedule may be considered.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to interpret radiographs, ultrasound, CT, and neuroimaging studies; provide timely reports and clinical consultations; perform qualified fluoroscopic and image-guided procedures; communicate significant findings; oversee imaging quality and safety; participate in quality-improvement activities; coordinate patient care; and support staff and trainee education.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in radiology.
  • Demonstrated competency in neuroradiology interpretations.
  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree from an approved medical school.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Completion of qualifying accredited residency training.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to interpret radiographs, ultrasound, and CT imaging.
  • MRI interpretation experience is preferred.
  • Experience performing GI fluoroscopy and joint injections is strongly preferred.
