- Estimate Pay: $55.00/hr to 58.00/hr
Working Hours:
Work will be scheduled normally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, however, there may be times when it is necessary for the employees to work after duty hours or weekends in support of specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week or 1008 hours total.
Summary:
Will be part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the Texas HHS Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. These positions will perform Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Physic, or Chemistry.
- Shall have at least 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- Work experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions
- Microsoft Power Platform development experience
- Experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning
- Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
- Experience in design and development of Power BI reports
- Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows
- Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses
- Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
