- Estimated Compensation: $26.40 - $29.48 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.

Summary of Duties
The Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is responsible for providing support and services to individuals and families facing various social, emotional, and health-related challenges. The LSW will assess client needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide counseling and advocacy to improve their well-being.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a social work or mental health setting preferred.
- Must hold a current Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Bachelors degree in social work (BSW) required; Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social, emotional, and health needs. Use standardized tools and clinical observations to identify areas of need.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment results. Set realistic goals and monitor client progress.
- Counseling: Provide individual, group, and family counseling to address mental health issues, substance abuse, and other social challenges. Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and access to services. Assist clients in navigating healthcare, social services, and community resources.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage emergencies and critical situations. Provide support and resources during crises.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and other professionals to coordinate client care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Ensure compliance with all documentation standards.
- Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain client confidentiality and ensure a safe and clean environment.
