SAP CC, Lead and develop the SAP Team, in Winterthur/home office.

Main tasks:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and develop the SAP team (7 direct + 7 external) across geographies and time zones in close collaboration with matrix managers
  • SAP Solution Ownership: Provide leadership for daily operations, roadmap, and strategy of the SAP landscape
  • Delivery Management: Oversee all delivered solutions, including change requests, projects, incident management, process optimization/automation, and user support
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and understand segment business models
  • SAP Representation: Advocate for the SAP perspective within the global enterprise architecture, business process ecosystem, and relevant boards and user communities
  • Best Practices Implementation: Apply industry standards for ERP demand management, change management, and agile operations, contributing to an efficient operating model
  • User Adoption & Change Management: Promote SAP landscape improvements and drive cultural change towards digital process adoption
  • Supplier & Budget Management: Handle suppliers, contracts, and budgets for SAP solutions in collaboration with internal departments such as Procurement and Legal
  • SAP Cloud & S4/HANA Transformation: Actively support the evolution of SAP architecture towards cloud consumption and SAP S4/HANA migration
  • Strategic Advisory: Advise senior stakeholders on solutions to business challenges

Your qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Masters degree in computer science, business administration, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional qualification
  • SAP Expertise: SAP certification in at least one of the following modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PP
  • Competence Center Leadership: Proven experience in building, leading, and developing an SAP Competence Center
  • SAP System Management: Extensive experience in managing SAP systems, including support, project management, and multiple implementations
  • S4/HANA Migration: Strong track record in designing, setting up, implementing, and rolling out S4/HANA systems, particularly migrating from SAP ECC in a multi-geography setup
  • Team Management: Experience leading teams with a mix of permanent staff, consultants, and contractors (onshore and offshore)
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to engage with senior leadership and communicate confidently at all levels
  • Industry Experience: Preferably experience in an engineering-focused industrial or manufacturing business
  • Language Skills: Full proficiency in English (business fluent at a contractual level); German language skills are an advantage
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently and systematically within a goal-oriented team
  • Proactive Mindset: Convincing presence, diplomatic communication style, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Coaching & Advisory Skills: Capable of guiding and advising others to improve processes and performance
