Main tasks:

  • Contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of the SAP FI & CO solution.
  • Provide expert-level second-tier support for incident resolution and application maintenance to minimize disruptions to business operations.
  • Lead assigned project tasks, which include facilitating meetings, tracking action points, delivering project results, and managing communication and reporting.
  • Conduct detailed analyses, assessments, and estimations, presenting appropriate implementation or integration options aligned with stakeholder expectations concerning timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
  • Assist the business in optimizing processes by leveraging SAP capabilities.
  • Design tailored, efficient, and high-quality solutions according to business needs, best practices, legal, and group requirements while adhering to change management procedures.
  • Lead and coordinate small to mid-sized application projects in collaboration with external service providers and key business users.
  • Proactively ensure the sustainability of solutions through application monitoring and facilitating non-regression testing.
  • Manage project-related verbal and written communication, including documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.


    • Your qualifications:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • SAP and project management certifications are a plus.
  • At least several of professional experience, including several years of proven experience with SAP CO.
  • Experience in SAP system knowledge, configuration, and maintenance in the following areas:
    • Overhead Controlling (Cost Center Accounting, Cost Elements, Internal Orders, Activity Types, Allocations/Assessment/Distribution Cycles, Indirect Activity Allocation, Cost Center Planning).
    • CO-PA Profitability Analysis.
    • Product Cost Planning.
    • Cost Object Controlling: Production, Sales, Service, Quality Order Costing.
    • Period-End Closing (Allocations, Calculations, Work-in-Process, Production Variance Calculation, Results Analysis, Settlements).
    • New General Ledger with Profit Center Accounting.
    • PS Project System with a focus on CO and valuated project stock.
    • Integration with MM, SD, CS, QM, PP, BW.
    • Material Ledger.
    • ECC 6.0 and S/4 HANA.
    • BOFC/Consolidation function knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly beneficial.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and german
  • ABAP knowledge is an advantage (including ABAP tables and dictionary, debugging, feasibility checks for custom solutions, enhancements, and user exits).
  • Strong communication skills, both technical and business-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills, focused on problem-solving, self-organization, and results.
  • Adherence to internal procedures and management guidelines in a respectful manner.
  • A positive, motivated team player who is eager to share knowledge and flexible in learning new subjects.
