Main tasks:

• Own and continuously develop the overall data migration strategy and future business transformation initiatives.
• Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of data migration activities across business workstreams and deployment waves.
• Establish and govern migration methodologies, standards, templates, quality gates, reconciliation procedures and readiness criteria.
• Drive data extraction, profiling, cleansing, enrichment, validation and migration in close collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Plan and oversee mock migrations, migration testing cycles, dress rehearsals and production migration activities.
• Establish clear data ownership and accountability across business process owners, subject matter experts, IT teams and implementation partners.
• Identify, assess and proactively manage migration risks, dependencies, data quality issues and compliance requirements.
• Define and coordinate the integrated cutover strategy and execution plan together with business, IT and implementation partners.
• Lead cutover execution and deployment readiness activities to ensure a controlled and reliable transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Govern hypercare activities following go-live, coordinating issue resolution, stabilization and business continuity measures.
• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards and decision-support materials for program leadership and Steering Committees.
• Build and continuously enhance long-term data migration capabilities, standards, templates and best practices for future transformation programs.
• Define and manage long-term data lifecycle and Run responsibilities, including archiving concepts, recurring data updates, the provision of current test data for quality and validation systems, and governance of shared development landscapes across China and Switzerland.

Your qualifications:

• Several years of experience leading data migration initiatives within large-scale ERP or digital transformation programs.
• Proven experience in SAP transformations, ideally with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in data migration methodologies, governance frameworks, migration tooling and reconciliation processes.
• Hands-on experience managing complex data migration lifecycles, including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, testing and cutover execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align business stakeholders, IT teams, implementation partners and external vendors across multiple functions and countries.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and key master data domains, including customers, suppliers, materials, finance and manufacturing-related data.
• Experience with data migration tools and platforms such as SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SNP or comparable solutions.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination and risk management capabilities.
• Proven experience working effectively in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written; German is a strong advantage.
