Main tasks:
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for internal power users and business process owners across Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Tracking & Tracing processes

Own and drive the application strategy for SAP MM-related processes in close alignment with business stakeholders and IT delivery functions

Build and maintain deep knowledge of business processes and the overall application landscape

Perform SAP customizing and define functional specifications for development requirements

Manage external and internal IT service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery

Support and enable power users to maintain strong knowledge levels; deliver end-user training when required

Promote and ensure high data quality in collaboration with users to enhance process efficiency

Lead temporary working groups and project initiatives, monitor progress, and provide expert guidance without formal line management

Maintain up-to-date solution documentation

Ensure end-to-end fulfillment of defined service level agreements (SLAs)
- Monitor and manage the application portfolio budget, including forecasting and cost control

Identify, propose, and support continuous business process improvements

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to uncover opportunities for automation and optimization

Evaluate and leverage new technologies to enhance business processes and outcomes

Advise stakeholders before and during the implementation of SAP-related process improvements

Represent application and process interests in IT projects, acting in both Application Owner and Process Engineer roles

Identify trends and digital innovations that improve efficiency or enable new value creation

Support improvement initiatives in alignment with business needs and IT strategies
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, IT guidelines, and project governance frameworks
Your qualifications:
- Strong understanding of core processes including Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Tracking & Tracing

Practical experience in Logistics Execution within a manufacturing environment

Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes in a structured and value-driven manner

Solid consulting and configuration expertise in SAP MM, including Master Data and Business Partner Management

Knowledge of SAP PP, QM, Ariba, and SAP Fiori

Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international environment

Excellent communication and advisory skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and evaluating new technologies
-
Experience in application ownership and/or process engineering within SAP environments
-
Ability to work independently, lead task forces, and coordinate diverse stakeholders without formal authority

Fluent English and German skills (written and spoken)
