Role Overview:
Role Overview: The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, or passengers safely and efficiently to designated locations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, proper vehicle maintenance, adherence to road safety regulations, and customer satisfaction by providing reliable and efficient transport services.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Transportation: Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers as per assigned schedules and routes.
  • Delivery & Pickups: Ensure timely delivery of products to customers, collecting receipts, and confirming delivery completion.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it's in good condition (e.g., tire pressure, oil, lights, brakes). Report any mechanical issues or required maintenance to the logistics team.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and submit daily mileage logs, fuel consumption records, and delivery forms.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and regulations, and ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transportation.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers courteously during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any delivery-related concerns.
  • Load & Unload: Assist in loading and unloading products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Routing & Navigation: Plan the most efficient routes for trips, using GPS and other navigation tools to avoid delays.
  • Inventory Control: Check and verify delivery items against orders to ensure accuracy before leaving the warehouse.
  • Ad hoc Duties: Assist with additional tasks, such as supporting warehouse operations, as required by the logistics team.

Requirements: 

  • Licence: Preferably EC1, at least C
  • PDP (Public Driving Permit) is mandatory
  • More than 10 years of proven truck driving experience
  • Knowledge of the local routes and surrounding areas
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with traffic regulations
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude
