Sales Executive - Carton and Corrugated Packaging
$90k-$125k base plus bonus, car allowance - Hybrid working
Our client is one of Australia's most technologically advanced producers and distributors of printable materials and consumables, including sustainable and recyclable options like shelf displays, standees and digital packaging. They are transforming big creative ideas into reality.
This is a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of their Carton and Corrugated Packaging business. You will be influencing industry trends and shaping the future of packaging solutions in Australia.
Based at their state-of-the-art converting facility in South Eastern Melbourne, and reporting to the General Manager, you will develop and execute a strategic plan to expand sales and gross profit in fibre-based packaging across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve sales growth for Carton and Corrugated Packaging business.
- Deepen market understanding by anticipating client needs and analysing industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating optimal commercial terms.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, driving key account management and supplier negotiations.
- Optimise inventory management within company targets, minimising aged stock.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Lead generation Team to execute a winning marketing strategy.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the packaging industry, with a strong focus on carton board and corrugated display graphic products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the global packaging supply base and established industry relationships.
- Proven ability to create and execute effective sales strategies, delivering outstanding results.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
