Job Description
As an HR Manager at Fastn, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing core HR functions, including HR operations, people operations, and recruitment. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the company’s culture, streamlining HR processes, and building a high-performance team. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and hands-on execution to support Fastn’s rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to support a fast-growing organization.
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems to ensure seamless HR operations.
- Oversee employee records, compliance reporting, and HR documentation.
- Partner with leadership to ensure legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Establish and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
People Operations
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and company culture.
- Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, feedback cycles, and career development programs.
Lead initiatives to improve workplace diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Conduct employee surveys and leverage insights to optimize workplace satisfaction and productivity.
- Implement learning and development programs to upskill employees and support career growth.
- Organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and employee recognition initiatives.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent across multiple functions.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong employer branding to position Fastn as a top workplace in the SaaS industry.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define job roles, competencies, and hiring goals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize hiring processes and candidate experience.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention rates.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a highly driven and experienced HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or talent acquisition, preferably in a tech or SaaS company.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
Proven experience in building and scaling HR processes and systems.
- Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruitment and employer branding.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with HRIS systems and ATS platforms.
- Knowledge of remote work best practices and distributed team management.
Prior experience in a startup or hyper-growth environment.
