Accountant (Hong Kong Clients | Xero | MY-Based)

We are hiring an experienced Accountant to manage full-set accounts for Hong Kong clients, using Xero and cloud-based accounting tools. You will work closely with overseas clients, support internal finance operations, and supervise junior staffs.

* Salary Range MYR 4,000 ~ 7,000 (depends on the experience)*

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for Hong Kong clients in accordance with HKFRS.
• Maintain accurate client financial records using Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial documentation.
• Generate monthly and annual financial reports, including: Balance sheets, Income statements, Cash flow statements using Xero, Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for business decision-making
• Support internal finance operations, including: Client invoicing, Cash flow forecasting and Financial tracking
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on: Accounting projects, Automation initiatives and Process improvement activities
• Use cloud-based HR systems to manage client employee records and support HR-related processes
• Supervise and review junior staffs work, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the below:

• Professional diploma or degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience handling Hong Kong-based clients (strongly preferred)
• Xero Accounting Software experience is mandatory
• Strong proficiency in Excel for financial statement preparation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English. (Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus)
