We are looking for an Oracle Application Developer on behalf of a client, a leading global tire manufacturer known for its innovation and high-performance products. With a strong presence in the automotive industry, the company supplies tires for passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, and motorsports worldwide. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EBS and Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications while supporting system integration and database management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions within Oracle EBS using PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Oracle APEX, and BI Publisher.
  • Develop and integrate custom Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports with Oracle EBS.
  • Utilize Oracle ADF, BI Publisher, and Oracle APEX for advanced reporting and application development.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Develop and manage Oracle DB objects such as Tables, Views, Triggers, Procedures, Functions, and Jobs.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Develop data migration tools/custom PL/SQL scripts and perform conversion.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Diagnose technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work in Unix/Solaris server environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and test scripts.

Requirements: 

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and developing solutions in a warehouse environment.
  • Oracle EBS certification is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Oracle APEX, and BI Publisher.
  • Experience in system integration between Oracle EBS and other systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Solaris server environments.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, as this role requires close collaboration with IT teams in both China and the USA.
  • Willingness to travel extensively: Initial work in Singapore for a few weeks, followed by a 2-month assignment in the USA, then returning to Malaysia/Singapore before traveling to the USA again. 
  • Strong problem-solving, innovation, and technical skills.
