We are looking for a Construction Project/Contract Administrator on behalf an Australian company specializing in construction and project management services. This role involves managing project documentation, overseeing contract administration and procurement, facilitating stakeholder communication, and supporting site coordination to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage essential project documents, including reports, contracts, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee contract details, procurement processes, and resource allocation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Serve as a contact point for both internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing queries promptly.
- Proactively monitor and manage project and task timelines, identifying potential delays and mitigating risks.
- Offer support for site activities, ensuring all team members have the necessary resources for optimal execution.
- Input relevant account data, maintaining accurate and accessible records.
- Provide weekly project status updates, flagging issues or concerns to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, introduce efficiencies, and enhance project outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring consistency with overall project goals.
- Submit daily reports via iOS notes or WhatsApp for remote office support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), PDF editing, and measuring tools; AutoCAD experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction terminology, practices, and industry standards, with familiarity in Australian construction highly valued.
- Excellent command over English, both verbal and written, with the ability to draft clear and concise reports.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining accountability.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and resolve challenges efficiently.
