Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the portfolio of clients and review the work of team members to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead the team with clear directions and goals and to ensure timely completion of tasks to the standards required.
  • Coach and provide regular feedback to the team so that the team is developed with the required competencies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all the relevant parties on requirements and information to meet statutory and regulatory compliances.
  • Monitor all secretarial-related matters of incorporated companies to ensure all compliances are met.
  • Resolve client issues quickly with good analysis of issues and provide clear solutions and advice.
  • Continuously keep self and team updated on regulatory updates and development in the company secretarial field and clients industries.
  • Look for opportunities to improve efficiency through improved practices and work processes, discussion with tech team on automation of process.

Requirements: 

  • Possess a ICSA, degree in corporate administration or its equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience in company secretary field.
  • Preferable member of MAISCA.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work well with people at all levels.
  • A decision maker who applies critical thinking and well-thought out solutions to resolve problems and issues.
  • Supervisory skills to manage the team and foster teamwork.
  • Coach and people development skills.
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively in English.
  • The ability to prioritize work and to work well under pressure.
  • Confidence to provide support to high-profile company staff and board members.
